Enterprise Title has adopted social distancing for the health and safety of its customers and its staff. To that end it has limited the number of people in the closing room to those that are signing.
The social distancing guidelines are being relaxed as the number of new cases have plateaued and flattened. The disease is still present and still presents a risk to certain parties.
In order to meet the ongoing need for social distancing and to also meet prudent health and safety guidelines for our customers and staff the following practices will be observed.
We will open the closing room up to non-signing parties including relators and loan officers. As we add more people to the room we will require masks/face coverings for all people in the room. Additionally, when a signing party (couple) feel the need to bring their children we will ask that the children remain in the outer lobby or car and the parties can sign separately if need be. We are still separating the buyers and sellers into separate rooms. We will wipe down each room with disinfectant daily.
This remains a fluid situation. As we stand now we have this comfort. If in fact there is a surge in the illness we may need to revert to earlier or more stringent practices. If the current plateau finally declines there could be more relaxing practices.
This is for the health and safety of all parties involved. We are aware there are more stringent practices among our competitors, there may be less stringent practices. This is what we as a group see as safe and prudent at this time.
